WATSONTOWN - Mayor Dave Hontz, who has been in the position since longtime mayor Robert Brown died in 2009, said he does not plan to run for another term in the upcoming fall election.

"I’ve enjoyed serving my community as mayor over the last five years, and I’m thankful for the support of the community," he said. "I’m now looking forward to spending more time with my family and pursuing personal interests."

Primary elections for municipal positions will be held May 21 across the state, followed by a general election in November.
