LEWISBURG — Pennsylvania Senator Pat Toomey visited with community and business leaders at the Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce on Monday morning.
Toomey talked about the upcoming sequester, as well as government's inability to get along.
SUNBURY — A number of boats will be headed to Sunbury on Saturday in order to “Wake the Lake.”
Sunbury Revitalization Inc., the Friends of Shikellamy State Park, the Sunbury Social Club and the city have formed a partnership to bring the first “Wake the Lake” celebration to Lake Augusta on Saturday.

Students at the YMCA Arts Center, 35 S. 5th St., Sunbury, are in the midst of a cool project — “Extreme Papier Mache.” Inspired by the work of Emmy award-winning artist Wayne White, the kids are making giant puppet heads made out of recycled Daily Items. They plan to wear them in future parades around town.
