SUNBURY — The Sunbury Social Club will hold its fourth annual “Post World Series Party to Benefit ALS” 6 p.m. to midnight Jan. 25 at the club located on the island between Sunbury and Northumberland.
Memory Lane will perform from 9 p.m. to midnight. There will also be ballpark food, a silent auction, games and prizes.
The second annual River Jump is also planned for that evening.
Cost is $10 at the door. All ages welcome.
The first “Light Up the Sky” Kickball Tournament will be held July 6 at the David L. Persing Recreation Complex, North 4th St., Sunbury.

Students at the YMCA Arts Center, 35 S. 5th St., Sunbury, are in the midst of a cool project — “Extreme Papier Mache.” Inspired by the work of Emmy award-winning artist Wayne White, the kids are making giant puppet heads made out of recycled Daily Items. They plan to wear them in future parades around town.
