SUNBURY -- Janet Waltz, of Middleburg was the winner of The Daily Item’s 2012 “Holiday Gift Box” promotion which ran for five consecutive weeks over the holiday season. She won more than $1,500 in gift cards and gift certificates to area businesses. More than 6,000 entries were received. Presenting the prize is Steven Leister, advertising sales representative for The Daily Item.
