SUNBURY — On Christmas morning, Kaitlin Kodack, a Shikellamy High School senior, will be in the 2012 Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade.
Kodack, a cheerleader at Shikellamy, had the honor to participate in the NCA/NDA Christmas Extravaganza in Walt Disney World on Nov. 29 through Dec. 3. She was chosen 19th out of 570 participants from all across the country and will be in the fourth row back from the front.
Kodack has been a Shikellamy cheerleader for the past six years and a competitive cheerleader with Pennsylvania Elite for 11 years.
She plans to spend her summer as an instructor with the National Cheerleading Association and cheer for Susquehanna University.
