NORTHUMBERLAND — The fifth grade class at Sunbury Christian Academy recently visited T & D’s Cats of the World, an animal shelter that rescues and takes in animals in need from various sources. Lions, tigers, cougars, bobcats, deer, bear and skunks are a few of the creatures they were able to observe. The tour guide taught them many interesting things about these animals, along with providing an up-close view of each one. This field trip nicely supplements their study of mammals in science. The students enjoyed this time and learned many new facts about some of God’s wonderful creatures.
