LEWISBURG — High school juniors and seniors in Union County will have an opportunity to see and be the Face of Agriculture during June 17-21 at Bucknell University. This is a week-long fun and educational conference for high school students to gain a hands on experience about Farm Bureau daily role of sharing farmers stories and experience with legislators and the general public of the state. Participants will take part in engaging workshops, fun activities and hear from empowering speakers.
Activities during the week-long program will include Ag Olympics, Speak-Out panel, formal dinner, graffiti dance, team building activities, a cards and movies night, as wells as picnic and organized recreation.
Registration forms are online at faceofag.pfb.com. The Union County Farm Bureau will sponsor two Union County students to the program. Students will need to enroll and pay a $50 deposit, which will be refunded by the Union County Farm Bureau after the students attendance at the program..
