TURBOTVILLE — Turbotville Lions Club President Glenda Yost announced that this year’s Lions Club Christmas Program has helped 45 young children enjoy a special Christmas. In addition, the Club provided food baskets for 19 families.
The Club wishes to thank the following individuals and organizations who made this project possible: Lion members Harry Mathias and Jim Yost, committee co-chairs; and donations from the employees of Turbotville National Bank, St. John’s Episcopal Church in Exchange, Ruth Smith, of Turbotville, Marine Corps Toys For Tots program, the Watsontown Police Department, and Fred Seiders and May Dewire, of Turbotville Great Valu.
