SUNBURY — Sunbury Revitalization Inc. held its fourth annual “Holiday Decorating Contest” in the City of Sunbury through Dec. 17. Residents were encouraged to check out the holiday decorations in the City of Sunbury and nominate a home or business to be included on the ballot.
There were two divisions in the holiday’s decorating competition, the commercial building decoration division and the residential home decorating division. In the commercial building, first place goes to Something Special Flower Shop; second place goes to Medical Center Pharmacy, and third place goes to Guigi’s. In the residential division, first place goes to Natalie Marshalek of 1037 Line St.; second place goes to Michael and Holly Saxton of 229 Walnut St., and third place goes to Margaret and J.R. Fleming of 1028 Susquehanna Ave.
