NORTHUMBERLAND — The third grade class at Sunbury Christian Academy stepped back in time as they travelled to the Red Bank Schoolhouse. The children experienced writing with a pen that they dipped in an inkwell, using a slate board and slate pencil to do their sums, and reading their lessons at the recitation bench. Even though they enjoyed this experience, the students agreed that they like the school of 2012 better.
