TREVORTON -- The community of Line Mountain School District recently held several fund raisers to help the students at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut. A Dress Down Day was scheduled for the faculty and staff. Students in fifth and sixth grade supported the cause by having a Wear a Hat Day. Families also contributed money to help the survivors of the tragedy. The total sent was $720.68. Picture are students in Melinda Masser’s room showing the snowflakes that they created and sent to Sandy Hook. This is just a sampling of the snowflakes that were created by many students in the elementary schools and high school.
