SUNBURY — The Little Shamokin Creek Watershed Association will conduct its annual cleanup on Saturday, March 16. They will be collecting trash and debris from the creek which will then be transported to an approved landfill.
Volunteers are urgently needed to help with this event. Meet at the Sunbury Water Treatment Plant, Route 61 South at the Hamilton underpass at 8:30 a.m. Coffee, juice and doughnuts, will be provided. Cleanup activities will be from 9 a.m. to noon at which time lunch will also be provided. Waterproof footwear is recommended.
