MIDDLEBURG -- Midd-West High School Students of the Month for February have been announced.
Kelsey Hollenbach, eighth grade, is the daughter of Tim and Tricia Hollenbach, of Middleburg. Some of her school activities include junior high soccer, junior high basketball, and manager of the girls soccer team and junior high boys basketball team. Outside school Kelsey enjoys playing soccer, hanging out with her friends and helping care for animals with her great-grandfather. Her future plans include attending college for veterinary medicine.
Emily Romig, ninth grade, is the daughter of Larry Romig, of Mifflinburg and Heather Schilling, of McClure. She is involved in band, FCCLA and Zumba Club while at school. Emily enjoys writing, visiting family, going on youth activities and volleyball in her spare time. She is planning on attending college in the nursing field.
Benjamen Kline, 10th grade, is the son of Chris and Amy Kline, of Middleburg. Some of his school activities include Science Olympiad, Health Careers Club, band, cross country, track and field and swimming. In his spare time he likes to be in the outdoors, reading, exercising and with family and friends. Benjamen is planning on attending college for biological sciences and doing research.
Dyllan Folk, 11th grade, is the son of Wayne Folk, of Beavertown and Allyson Folk, of Beaver Springs. He is involved in boys’ basketball, National Honor Society, Greenhouse Science Club and the Outdoors Club. Dyllan loves being outside fishing, hunting or trapping. His future plans include attending Penn State, Mont Alto campus for forestry.
Colton Keister, 12th grade, is the son of Chris and Joleen Keister, of Penns Creek. While in school he enjoys volleyball, soccer, basketball, baseball, Outdoors Club and flag football. His hobbies include fishing, hiking, camping and hanging out with his friends. He will be attending Messiah College in the fall majoring in engineering.
