WEST MILTON — West Milton State Bank is supporting the Warrior Run Middle School with sponsorship of an award-winning educational program called the Stock Market Game.
The president and investment representative of West Milton State Bank visited the classroom of Betz to present awards to the first, second, and third place team members, in addition to discussing with the students how they achieved their success.
The Stock Market Game is a ten-week simulation that offers players the opportunity to invest a hypothetical $100,000 in stock chosen from the American, New York, and NASDAQ markets. The activity is designed to increase the students’ understanding of the economy, markets, corporations, etc. and to provide them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to manage their finances as adults.
