WILLIAMSPORT — The Korean War Veterans of Lycoming County, Pa., Inc., will host a reunion for Korean War veterans from Pennsylvania in observance of the 60th anniversary of the truce signing ending the war on July 27, 1953.
The three-day event is open to Pennsylvania veterans of any branch of service who served during the Korean War era (June 25, 1950 through Jan. 31, 1955) whether in Korea or stationed elsewhere worldwide with the U.S. military.
The reunion will be headquartered at the historic Genetti Hotel in downtown Williamsport, with events scheduled from July 25, and concluding on July 27. Military exhibits, tours, a banquet with guest speakers, and memorial services are planned.
