HARRISBURG — The HACC Foundation received a grant for $400,000 from The Donald B. and Dorothy L. Stabler Foundation to augment the Stabler Foundation’s Engineering Scholarship Fund at the College. This permanently-endowed fund provides scholarships to outstanding first-year HACC students in engineering technology programs.
Established by Mr. and Mrs. Stabler in 1966, the Stabler Foundation provides grants exclusively for charitable, religious, scientific, literary or educational purposes. Grants generally are only made to organizations and institutions that are located, or provide their primary services, in Central or Eastern Pennsylvania.
HACC offers a wide variety of associate degrees, certificates and transfer programs in engineering technology. These programs include architectural, civil, electronic engineering, engineering and mechanical engineering technologies, and the new fields of geographic information systems and nanofabrication technology.
For more information about programs in engineering technology, contact Bill Forney, engineering department chairman, at (717) 221-1300, ext. 1402 or email wcforney@hacc.edu.
