LEWISBURG — On Feb. 27, the Lewisburg Applebee’s hosted its seventh annual Celebrity Service event, which raises money for Camp Cadet, a week-long self esteem and team building camp for children ages 12-15. Over a dozen of the Susquehanna Valley State Police troopers made celebrity appearances cooking, serving and bartending, all while clad in the Applebee’s uniform. This year, troopers raised $7,500 for Camp Cadet. Since its inception, the Lewisburg store has raised $49,500, which will go towards food, uniforms, and lodging at the camp.
