MIFFLINBURG — The Herr Memorial Library is accepting book donations in good condition in preparation for its annual book sale to be held in May.
Along with books, the library will also accept donations of DVDs in good condition. Donations that will not be accepted include encyclopedias, text books, Reader’s Digest condensed books, VHS and cassette tapes, and books or DVDs in unacceptable condition.
The book sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. May 16 and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 17 and May 18, in conjunction with Mifflinburg’s May Fest.
Donations may be dropped off at the library at 500 Market St., Mifflinburg during regular hours of operation. The library is open from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
