MILTON — A sixth grade student at Meadowbrook Christian School is the winner of the Milton Cultural Festival theme contest. Abby Terwilliger was chosen by the Milton Cultural Festival committee to be an ambassador of the event. Abby’s winning theme was “Our Community, A Cultural Collage.” Terwilliger says she thought about how all the different cultures are different pieces of the community and she likes art, so she just thought of it like a collage. For winning, Abby also receives a savings bond.
A student in the Milton Area School District will also be chosen to create a logo for the Milton Cultural Festival. This year’s festival is May 13 and for more information go to www.miltonpatime.org/mcf.
