SUNBURY — Sunbury’s Revitalization Inc. (SRI) invites Shikellamy High School students and their parents interested in the Teen Business Innovation Zone [T-BIZ] program to an informational meeting at 6 p.m. Jan. 23 in the SRI conference room, located in the basement of the municipal building. All students’ grades 9-12 are welcome, including home-schooled students that reside within the Shikellamy School District.
T-BIZ is a positive teen program that will encourage students to create the community they have always wanted to live in. T-BIZ encourages community service, and will offer training in financial/business literacy in hopes of creating the civic minded entrepreneurs of tomorrow. The T-BIZ program in each participating school district will be run by a local adult knowledgeable in business practices.
