MONTANDON — How exciting would it be to visit Italy? Mrs. Brouse’s fifth grade students at Montandon Elementary School came close to doing just that. Brouse’s daughter Olivia is currently attending college in Italy, and through the use of 21st century technology, her students got to virtually visit with her recently.
Brouse set up a skype session with her daughter to visit with her 24 students. The students all had questions for Olivia, and she answered all of them. Questions like, “What is the food like over there?” and “What places did you visit?” were asked. The students even got to meet a couple of her friends that she goes to school with.
During the session, one student was overheard saying, “I want to go to college in Italy!”
