FOREST HILL - Snowfest 2013 is set for noon to 4 p.m. this Sunday, Feb. 10, at R.B. Winter State Park.
Experience a hike on snowshoes, go cross country skiing, or try out ice skating. Learn how to ice fish or have your kids hear about snowmobile safety and then go for a ride on a real snowmobile.
Enjoy some hot soup or chocolate at the food concession and attend a silent auction to benefit future snowfests and park events.
Other activities include broomball, winter search and rescue using dogs, interpretive programs about birds and bears and special activities for children include winter story time, nature activiites and crafts.
Runners can compete in a 3.5-mile run through the woods. To participate in the 5K Snowfest Run, contact the Midd-Penn Trailblazers at 765-0267 to pre-register.
