COWEN — Members of the Cowan Ag 4-H Club held their monthly meeting on Dec. 3 at the Union County Extension Office.
At the meeting, the members elected officers for 2013 as follows: Jared Moyer, president; Aiden Bomgardner, vice president; Dottie Bollinger, treasurer; Rebecca Stup, secretary, and Mollie Bomgardner, reporter.
Members viewed T-shirt designs and received order forms for the apparel. Club leader Crystal Bollinger recognized members who earned an award at Recognition Night in November. Members also signed up to work at the Mifflinburg Borough Recycling on upcoming Saturdays.
The next meeting will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Union County Extension Office. Members will register projects for the new year.
Cowan Ag 4-H Club members raise and exhibit livestock projects, such as sheep, goats, steers, pigs, and rabbits. For more information about the club, call Crystal Bollinger, club leader, at 966-9538.
