HUMMELS WHARF -- From left, Mindy Kisner, Karen Hubicki and Sue Chervanik wrap gifts at the Susquehanna Valley Mall in order to raise money for Chief Shikellamy Elementary School’s Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) program. RIF is the largest children’s literacy nonprofit in the United States. The goal of RIF is to prepare and motivate children to read by delivering free books to those children and families who need them most. All proceeds from the gift wrapping will be used to provide free books to the students at the Chief Shikellamy Elementary School.
