MILTON — The residents at Kramm Health and Rehab Center, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Milton, have a volunteer group within the facility that is providing assistance to local charity organizations. The residents are talented volunteers with years of experience who find worthwhile community projects fun and rewarding. Additionally, volunteering provides the residents many beneficial aspects of the therapy process including problem-solving strategies, improved memory skills, range of motion, balance, and strength training.
Residents at Kramm Health and Rehab Center made breast cancer bracelets and sold them at the recent Senior Health Fair. The residents were able to raise $156 for the American Cancer Society.
