PAXTONVILLE — For over 30 years, the American Cancer Society has celebrated Daffodil Days. The Daffodil is the first flower of spring and the American Cancer Society’s perennial symbol of hope for cancer patients and their caregivers. Celebrating Daffodil Days is about much more than enjoying beautiful flowers; it’s about sharing hope for a world free from cancer. A world with less cancer is a world with more birthdays. This spring, won’t you further that mission by agreeing to purchase daffodils to give to your friends, family, and coworkers? Susan Lucas is the Paxtonville United Methodist Church Daffodil Days representative. If you would like to place an order, call her at 837-3206 by Feb. 20.
