WEST CAMERON -- Mae Long, 94, a former resident of West Cameron, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, in Hilliard, Fla.
She was born Feb. 6, 1915, in West Cameron, a daughter of the late Daniel and Jenny (Reitz) Kerstetter. She was married to Millard Long, who preceded her in death in 1986.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ned and Marlene Long, of Herndon; one daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Troy Vanzant, of Hilliard, Fla.; three grandsons and their spouses, Michael and Crystal Dowie, Sean and Amanda Dowie, and Matthew and Stephanie Nelson; four step-grandchildren and their spouses, Craig Leitzel, LuAnn and Jeff Wetzel, James and Tammy Leitzel, and Cheryl and Jeff Bordner; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two infant sons, five brothers and six sisters.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, followed by the funeral at 11, with the Rev. Ronald Murphy officiating.
Burial will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
