Ruth W. Ulrich, 94, Sherburne, N.Y.

SHERBURNE, N.Y. — Ruth W. Ulrich, 94, of Sherburne, formerly of New Berlin, Pa., passed away Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013.

She was born Aug. 8, 1918, in Jackson Township, Snyder County, Pa., a daughter of Simon Franklin and Annie S. (Brouse) Ulrich.

Ruth was educated in local schools.

Moving to New York in 1966, she had worked for the Earlville Paper Box Co. until her retirement. Previously, she had done factory work in Pennsylvania.

She was a former member of Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Berlin.

Ruth was a loving mother and grandmother who doted on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Carol Ulrich, of Sherburne; grandchildren, Kenneth and Tammy Ulrich, of Port Deposit, Md., Mark and Patricia Ulrich, of Fairfield Glad, Tenn., Susan and Alan Sanders, of Cartersville, Ga., and Michael and Sabrina Ulrich, of Sherburne; her beloved great-grandchildren, Ethan, Caleb, Noah, Alexandra, Sophia, Jonathon, Sierra and Kenneth (Joshua); and stepgreat-grandchildren, Jeanette, Alicia, Michael, Ashton and Elena.

She was predeceased by one grandson, Jonathan Ulrich, in 1977; two sisters, Mary Ulrich and Agnes Snook; one brother, Guy Ulrich; and one stepgreat-grandchild, Traci Lynn.

Services will be held at a later date and time to be announced with interment in New Berlin Cemetery, New Berlin.

Arrangements are by the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
