MILTON — Phyllis E. (Enterline) Albertson, 87, of Milton, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Kramm Health and Rehab Center, Milton.
She was born April 19, 1925, in Milton, a daughter of the late John C. and Agnes S. (Fox) Enterline. Phyllis married William H. Albertson on Nov. 15, 1946 and they celebrated 61 years of marriage until his death on April 23, 2008.
Earlier in life Phyllis worked at Enterline’s Restaurant and for 15 years she was employed by Bell Telephone. She then worked for Chef Boyardee from 1960-1987, retiring after 27 years of service.
Phyllis was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Milton and a member of the Milton Boat Club and Shakespeare Rod and Gun Club.
She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, mowing grass, boating and baseball.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles W. and Jennifer Albertson, of Bridgewater, Maine, and Stephen W. and Patricia Albertson, of Milton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki L. and Dennis Reichenbach, of Sunbury, and Billie J. and William Albertson, of Milton; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Omer Enterline and John Enterline Jr.; and five sisters, Miriam Savidage, Cleta Miller, Isabel Enterline, Savilla Musser and June Keiser.
A public viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton, followed by the funeral at 11 with Pastor Pat Pittsnogle officiating.
Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery
