NORTHUMBERLAND — Grace H. Keller, 82, of Northumberland, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at her home.
She was born July 29, 1930, in Baltimore, Md., the daughter of Grace (Urban) Deering, of Northumberland, and the late Howard Deering. She was married to John W. Keller Jr., who preceded her in death on Oct. 5, 2010.
Grace was a 1947 graduate of Sunbury High School.
She had been employed by the Pennsylvania Job Center as a caseworker for many years.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Sunbury.
Grace enjoyed oil painting, reading and going to the beach, especially Ocean City, Md.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael W. and Crystale Keller, of Sunbury, and John H. and Mary R. Keller, of Selinsgrove; eight grandchildren, Sarah, Jack, Erin, Beth, Amanda, Christopher, Emily and Jenny; and three great-grandchildren, Jayden, Jenika and Malachi.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
There will be no viewing. Friends may visit from 10 to 10:55 a.m. Thursday, followed by the funeral at 11, at First Baptist Church, Sunbury, with her pastor, the Rev. Darrin Hunt, officiating.
Burial will be in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Grace’s memory may be made to First Baptist Church, Sunbury, PA 17801.
