Dorothy L. App, 89, Exton

EXTON — Dorothy L. App, 89, of Upper Providence Township, and formerly of Exton, died Thursday morning, Jan. 10, 2013, in the Parkhouse Providence Pointe Nursing Home in Upper Providence.  

Born in Selinsgrove, she was a daughter of the late Robert L. and Ruth E. (Jarrett) App.  

Miss. App worked for the K-Mart in Exton, for many years.  

She is survived by one sister, Ruth Going, of Connecticut; and many nieces and nephews.  

She was pre-deceased by four siblings, Elizabeth M. Priori, Edna G. App, Robert L. App, and Russell K. App.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service at noon Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Union Cemetery in Selinsgrove, with the Rev. Robert Doll officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in her name to the Parkhouse at Providence Pointe, North Fifth floor, 1600 Black Rock Road, Royersford, PA 19468 or to the Vitas Hospice, 1787 Sentry Parkway West, Bldg. 16, Suite 400, Blue Bell, PA 19422.  

The Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St., Royersford, is in charge of the arrangements.
