CARLISLE — Anna M. Miller, 90, formerly of Carlisle, died peacefully on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at the home of her dear friend, Robert Staib, in Lake Wales, Fla.
She was born Aug. 27, 1922, in Shamokin Dam, a daughter of the late Earl E. and Catherine E. (Hottenstein) Stahl. She was married to James T. Miller, who preceded her in death.
Anna was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she attended the Gleaners Sunday School Class for 30 years.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, James T. Jr. and Miriam Miller, of Columbia, Md., and Timothy D. and Julia Miller, of Brambleton, Va.; one brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Lou Stahl, of Youngstown, Ohio; one sister, Elizabeth Remphrey, of Shamokin Dam; and two grandchildren, Sara Ackerman and husband Dan, of Long Valley, N.J., and Kathryn Miller, of Columbia, Md.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, followed by the funeral at 11 with the Rev. Timothy Sadler officiating.
Burial will be in Orchard Hills Cemetery, Shamokin Dam.
