TURBOTVILLE — Jack A. Schuyler, 73, of County Line Road, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Williamsport Regional Medical Center, where he had been admitted earlier in the day.
He was born Nov. 15, 1939, in Turbotville, a son of the late John Schuyler and Thelma Strouse. He married the former Helen H. Hall on Nov. 28, 1974, and they celebrated 38 years of marriage last month.
He retired from Royer’s Quarry, Washingtonville, in 1991 and earlier in life had worked at TRW, Danville.
A 32nd-degree Mason, Jack was a 50-year member of Watsontown Lodge 401, F&AM, and a member of the Williamsport Consistory. He was a member of the Army National Reserve Co. 814, of Bloomsburg, and the Antique Automobile Club of America.
Jack loved his antique cars.
In addition to his wife, Helen, he is survived by two brothers, Robert Schuyler, of Abingdon, Md., and Jim Schuyler, of Essex, Md.; two sisters, Sue Clark, of Pasadena, Md., and Sandy Cresta, of Glen Burnie, Md.; and a very good friend, Bud Bieber, of Turbotville.
Friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Brooks Funeral Home, 207 Broadway St., Turbotville, where the funeral will be held at 11.
Burial will follow in Turbotville Cemetery.
