Catherine L. Finn, 83, Milton

MILTON — Catherine L. Finn, 83, of Milton, passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at the Kramm Health and Rehabilitation Center, Milton.

She was born Feb. 12, 1929, in Muncy, a daughter of the late George W. and Helen M. (Rovenolt) DeWald.

Catherine attended Milton High School.

She had been employed by TRW, Danville, as an inspector. She owned Finn’s Bar and Hotel in Sunbury and sponsored the Finn’s softball team.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel A. and Peggy Neuhard and Gary L. and Barbara Neuhard, all of Milton; one daughter and son-in-law, Pamela S. and Leonard Evans, of Chesapeake, Va.; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Inez H. Stirone, of Fairport, N.Y., Betty Lou Sampsell and Shirley M. Derr, both of Milton.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Alice E. DeWald.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Brooks Funeral Home, 207 Broadway St., Turbotville, with Pastor Doug Schader, of Paradise United Church of Christ, Milton, officiating.

Burial will be private in the Exchange Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

The family suggests contributions in her memory be made to Geisinger HomeCare and Hospice, 100 N. Academy Ave., Danville, PA 17822.
