CARLISLE — Amanda “Mandi” Lyons, 26, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born Nov. 6, 1986, in Lewisburg, a daughter of Ronald Lee Sr. and Bonnie (Heddings) Lyons, of Carlisle.
Mandi was a 2005 graduate of the Carlisle High School where she was in choir and was a cheerleader.
She enjoyed dance, studying ballet, tap and jazz and was a member of the Girl Scouts. She was a member of St. Matthias Evangelical Lutheran Church in Carlisle.
When she was 10 years old she went to Disney World thanks to Make-A-Wish Foundation.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald David and Kimberly Lyons, of Virginia, and Ronald Lee Jr. and Danielle Lyons, of Carlisle; one sister, Bettina Lilly, of Carlisle; maternal grandparents, Walter and Verdilla Heddings, of West Milton; four nieces, Alyssa, Kaylee, Camryn, and Emma; and one nephew, Jayden.
Friends and relatives will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton, followed by the funeral at 11 with the Rev. David McCarty officiating.
Burial will be in Church Hill Cemetery, Lewisburg.
A memorial service will be held in Carlisle at a later date.
