MIDDLEBURG — Sandra A. “Sandy” Glass, 68, of Middleburg, passed away on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, in the emergency room of the Sunbury Community Hospital.
Sandra was born Oct. 21, 1944, in West Springfield, Mass., a daughter of the late Lillian (Spaford) Anderson and her stepfather, Donald Anderson Sr. On Aug. 9, 1963, she married Carson C. Glass who survives. Her passing breaks a loving marital union of 49 years.
She was a 1963 graduate of Selinsgrove High School.
Sandra was formerly employed with Hickory Farms and The Tee Shirt Shop at the Susquehanna Valley Mall and K-Mart in Shamokin Dam. She also had her own business Something Different and Crafts by Sandy. She enjoyed making crafts, quilting, and painting wooden crafts made by her husband.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Wesley C. and Leigh J. Glass, of Deer Park, N.Y., and Christopher M. Glass. at home; two grandchildren, Easton A. and Dylan A. Glass; three sisters and brother-in-law, Linda and James Nicklson, of York; and nieces and nephews.
Sandra was preceded by one brother, Donald Anderson Jr.
Friends and family are invited to the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mount Pleasant Mills, followed by the funeral at 11, with Pastor Jason A. Hostetter, officiating.
Burial will be made in Fairview Cemetery, Freeburg.
