Ella Mae Long, 67, Millmont

MILLMONT — Ella Mae Long, 67, formerly of Penns Creek, passed away at 3:48 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont.

She was born April 13, 1945, in Center Township, Snyder County, a daughter of the late Harvey Jacob and Estella Mae (Musser) Reich.

She had been employed at Middleburg Yarn in both their Middleburg and Selinsgrove facilities.

Ella was a member of VFW Post 164, Mifflinburg. She loved to raise flowers and had an extensive collection of bears and hearts.

Surviving are two sons, Marvin E. Walker Jr., of Watsontown and Dale R. Walker, of Danville; two daughters, Jean Ann Gueiswite, of New Columbia and Linda L. Walker, of Baltimore, Md.; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Swartzlander, of Mifflinburg; and three brothers, Jacob Reich, of Winfield, Charles Reich, of Penns Creek, and Marvin Reich, of Middleburg.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, John, Ben, Henry and George Reich; two sisters, Anna Bickhart and Patsy Reich; and one grandson, Randy Sampsell.

Friends and family will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg, followed by the funeral at 11.

Private burial in the Penns Creek Union Cemetery.
