WINFIELD — Nancy A. Stover, 75, of 99 William St., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at her son’s home in Mifflinburg.
She was born July 3, 1937, in Williamsport, a daughter of the late Charles and Charlotte (Dauber) Holtzapple. On May 12, 1956, she married Richard I. Stover and together they celebrated 50 years of marriage before his death on Feb. 7, 2007.
Nancy was a 1955 graduate of Lewisburg High School.
She was employed as a secretary in the music department at Bucknell Unviersity, Lewisburg, retiring after 29 years of service.
She was a member of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, Lewisburg. Nancy was also a couple’s small group leader and volunteer at Crossroads Church of the Nazarene, Milton. She was a member of the Winfield Fire Company Lady’s Auxiliary, the Winfield women’s card club and the Union Township board of elections. Nancy also volunteered her time at the Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Richard B. and Barbara A. Stover, of Mifflinburg and Mark E. Stover and companion, Tammy Conrad, of Middleburg; one brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Darlene Holtzapple, of Lewisburg; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Mrs. Judy Bechtel of Lewisburg and Carol and Dave Kratzer, of Montoursville; and one grandson, Richard E. Stover, of Mifflinburg.
Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, 205 Bull Run Crossing, Lewisburg, where the funeral will be held at 11, with her pastor, Alan Tucker officiating.
Burial will follow in Lewisburg Cemetery.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, 205 Bull Run Crossing, Lewisburg, PA 17837.
The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis streets, Lewisburg.
