KULPMONT — Christopher J. Madden, 21, of Kulpmont, known to everyone as “Chris,” died unexpectedly on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, in Kulpmont.
Born in Sunbury on May 15, 1991, he was a son of Danese (Bogetti) Boob and Thomas Madden Jr. He was a lifelong resident of this area and was employed at Nolan’s Lumber Co.
Christopher attended the Selinsgrove Area School District and then transferred to Mount Carmel Area High School, from where he graduated in 2010.
He was a member of Holy Angels Church in Kulpmont and also attended Sunbury Bible Church with his family.
Christopher enjoyed working with his Pap, Jerry, at Nolan’s; spending time with his friends; playing video games; fishing; and riding and fixing four-wheelers. He always had a bag of Beef Jerky in his possession to share with everyone.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his stepfather, Andrew; three brothers at home, Andrew III, Aaron and stepbrother Zachary; two sisters, Holly and Autumn and brother Tommy, of Ranshaw; maternal grandparents, Gerald and Geraldine Laskoski, with whom he lived; maternal grandfather, Joseph J. Bogetti, of Coal Township; paternal grandfather, Thomas Madden Sr., of Ranshaw; aunts; uncles; cousins; and his loving cat, Babyboots.
Visitors may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home, 1053 Chestnut St., Kulpmont, where a prayer service will be held at 8 with Father Andrew Stahmer officiating.
