She was born May 3, 1928, in Watsontown, a daughter of the late A. Larue and Hilda M. (Gray) Plotts. On July 3, 1947, she married Donald Earl Westley, who preceded her in death on Aug. 13, 2012, after 65 years of marriage.
Donna was a graduate of Watsontown High School and worked for many years as a beautician.
She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Watsontown
It is difficult for her family to express into words how wonderful and exceptional a woman, mother and grandmother Donna was. Steadfast, strong, generous, kind, devoted, loving and always there describes only a small part of who she was. She is so loved and will be forever held in the hearts of her family.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Sr. and Grace Westley, of Goodman, Mo. and Jeffrey and Terrie Westley, of Lewisburg; one daughter, Sheryl L. Westley, of Lewisburg; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Richard and Millie Plotts and Roger Plotts, all of Watsontown, and Frank Plotts, of Mifflinburg; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Aladean Aikey and Carolyn and Don Bowersox, all of Mifflinburg, and Emily Printzenhoff, of Milton; eight grandchildren, Michele Shewmaker, Shawna Glenn, Michael Westley Jr., Darin Naugle, Shiloe Drumheller, Wade Westley, Amy Jo Westley and Stacy Fitzwater; and 17 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by three brothers, A. Larue Jr., Boyd and Earl Plotts.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Watsontown Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions in Donna’s name be made to Trinity United Church of Christ, 602 Main St., Watsontown, PA 17777.
The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main St., Watsontown.
