Katherine E. Green, 90, Cranford, N.J.

CRANFORD, N.J. — Katherine E. Green, 90, of Cranford, died on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at JFK Haven Hospice in Edison, N.J.  

Born in Port Trevorton, Pa. to William and Erma Hoover, she had lived in Brooklyn and then Scotch Plains, N.J. for 30 years before moving to Cranford, in 1994.

Mrs. Green was a longtime member of the Woodside Chapel in Fanwood, N.J.

Surviving are her children, Kenneth W. Green and his wife, Miriam Gay, of Rome, Ga., Daniel A. Green and his wife, Linda, of Roselle Park, N.J., and Nancy C. Evans, of Cranford. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Joshua, Andrew, Jonathan, Jessica, Laura, Heather, Sarah and Meredith; as well as five great-grandchildren.  

She was predeceased by her husband, Malcolm A. Green in 1997, and her son, David M. Green in 2007.  

Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Funeral Home, 155 South Ave., Fanwood, followed by a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. at Woodside Chapel, 5 Morse Ave., Fanwood. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Susquehanna Valley Bible Church, 89 Fisher Road, Selinsgrove.

Interment will follow in Witmer’s Memorial Cemetery in Port Trevorton,
