DALMATIA — Betty M. Lahr, 67, of Dalmatia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove.
Betty was born May 21, 1944, in Jordan Township Northumberland County, a daughter of the late Susie (Deiter) and William Bohner. She was married to Daniel Lahr, who preceded her in death.
She was employed as a laborer at Martz’s Game Farm in Dalmatia.
She was a member of Kingdom Hall, Elizabethville.
Betty enjoyed working at Martz’s Game Farm, staying with Polly, liked being with her sidekick, Shirley, going for breakfast on Friday mornings and attending the Gratz auction.
Betty is survived by one daughter, Sandy Fox, of Klingerstown; three sisters, Lillian Strahan, of Munford, Ala., Shirley Lahr, of Dalmatia, and Mary Ebersole, of Trevorton; four brothers, William Bohner, of Herndon, Marlin Bohner, of Dalmatia, Richard Bohner, of Liverpool, and Norman Bohner, of Dornsife; one grandson, Daniel Fox and wife Amanda, of Springfield, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Troy White, Laurence Bohner, Melvin “Jim” Bohner and Russell Bohner, and one son-in-law, Thomas Fox.
Services are private and at the convenience of family.
