Celina E. Galvez, 76, Milton

MILTON — Celina Esther Galvez, 76, of Georgetown Lane, passed away on Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at her home.

She was born Nov. 13, 1935, in Cuba, a daughter of the late Juana Maria Coloma and Francisco Fraga Betancourt. She was married to Julian Galvez, who preceded her in death.

Celina was dedicated to her family and enjoyed caring for her husband, children and grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Jose Galvez, of New York, and Eduardo Galvez, of Missouri; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mercedes, Caridad and Marta Fraga.

She was preceded in death by one son, Orestes Luis Galvez, and seven siblings.

Friends and relatives will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at Revival Tabernacle, 960 Susquehanna Trail, Watsontown, followed by the funeral at 2 with the Rev. James R. Bond officiating.

Arrangements are under the care of the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton.
