Austin James Martin, 10, Mifflinburg

MIFFLINBURG — Austin James Martin, 10, of Mifflinburg, passed away from injuries suffered in a garden tractor rollover accident at 6:50 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at his home.

He was born Aug. 14, 2002, in Mifflinburg, a son of Kenneth Weaver and Dorothy (Martin) Martin, of Mifflinburg.

Austin was a very active boy who loved the outdoors.

Surviving are three siblings, Kimberly Rose Martin, Dorie Beth Martin and Michael Kenny Martin, all at home; maternal grandparents, Eli Z. and Emma B. Reiff, of Mifflinburg; and maternal great-grandparents, Rufus N. and Katie H. Martin, of Mifflinburg, and Laura N. Reiff, of Millmont.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Leroy W. and Sarah W. Martin, and maternal great-grandfather, Aaron Reiff.

Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the home of Kenneth W. and Dorothy M. Martin, 3370 Forest Hill Road, Mifflinburg. The funeral will be held at 8:45 a.m. Friday at the family home with additional services at 10 a.m. Friday in County Line Mennonite Church, 1087 St. Thomas Road, Mount Pleasant Mills, with Bishop Lester M. Martin, Jay Paul Hoover, Merlin B. Fox and Jonathan Martin officiating.

Interment will be in County Line Mennonite Church Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Mills. Serving as casket bearers will be Derick A. Martin, Leonard M. Martin, Dana J. Reiff and Mervin R. Reiff.

The family has requested that flowers be omitted.

Funeral arrangements are by the Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 247 Chestnut St., Mifflinburg.
