Arlene W. Martin, 64, McClure

McCLURE — Arlene Weaver Martin, 64, of 219 Smoky Knoll Lane, entered into rest at 11:40 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 07, 2013, at Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflin.

She was born on Sept. 24, 1948, in East Earl Township, Lancaster County, a daughter of the late Harry B. and Emma G. (Weaver) Nolt. On March 14, 1968, in Churchville, she married Ivan M. Martin, who survives.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by eight children and their spouses, Calvin N. and Rosanna Martin, of Mount Pleasant Mills, Paul I. and Kathryn Martin, of Millmont, Lori Apple, of Port Royal, Darla and Marlin Weaver, of McClure, Eileen and Jason Reinford, of Bennington, Vt., Julie Martin, of McClure, Lloyd and Marie Martin, of Mount Pleasant Mills, Sara and Noah Weaver, of Denver, Pa.; 22 grandchildren, seven siblings, Vera Shirk, of East Earl, Mary Leinbach, of Todd County, Ky., Alta Hoover, of East Earl, Marian Martin, of East Earl, Amos Nolt, of Lewisburg, Lloyd Nolt, of East Earl, and Lester Nolt, of Lewisburg.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ella Martin and Edna Weaver, and two brothers as toddlers.

Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Hartleton Mennonite Church, Laurel Road, Millmont, where the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, with the local ministry officiating.

Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.

The family requests the omission of flowers.  

Funeral arrangements are by the Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 247 Chestnut St., Mifflinburg.
