WEST MILTON — Louise H. “Nonnie” (Machamer) Fisher, 86, of West Milton, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at SUN Home Hospice, Sunbury.
She was born July 9, 1926, in New Columbia, a daughter of the late Ivan and Grace (Ranck) Machamer. Louise was married to William C. Fisher until his death on June 2, 1983.
Louise was a 1944 graduate of the Milton Area High School.
She was a seamstress at Fox and Napp Shirt factory, Milton, for 40 years. She then worked at the Senior Action Center, New Columbia, for 10 years participating in the Meals on Wheels program.
Louise was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, West Milton, and a member of the Woman’s Auxiliary Watsontown Legion.
Most of all, Louise loved her family very much.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, George D. and Judy Fisher, of Winfield; two granddaughters, Brandie Augustine and husband, Chris, and Tatum Cameron and husband, Matt, all of Pittsburgh; three great-grandchildren, Hunter Augustine, Neely and Holbrook Cameron; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Edith Reichard, of Milton, Geraldine Schreck, of Lewisburg, and Melladine and Ralph Dorman, of Mifflinburg.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Roberta Harpster; and one brother, Ivan Machamer II.
Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Louise’s memory may be made to the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 443 High St., West Milton, PA 17886, or to SUN Home Hospice, 61 Duke St., P.O. Box 232, Northumberland, PA 17857-0232.
Arrangements are being handled by the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton.
