MILLMONT — Joseph Paul Nacinovich, 73, of Millmont, entered into rest at 7:15 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
He was born July 31, 1939, in Shamokin, a son of the late John and Amelia (Reipaich) Nacinovich. In June 1982, he married the former Nancy R. Freeman, who survives.
Joseph was a 1957 graduate of Coal Township High School. He honorably served in the Army Reserves, stationed in Germany as a military police officer and sharpshooter from 1965-69.
Joseph was employed as a first class lineman for Jersey Central Power and Light for more than 30 years.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 30 years, are two sons and one daughter-in-law, John and Pat Nacinovich, of Woodstock, Ga., and Dave Nacinovich, of Franklin, N.J.; one brother and sister-in-law, John and Laura Nacinovich, of Oak Ridge, N.J.; and one sister, Jeanette Johnson, of Shamokin.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, Catherine Miller, Mary Czech, Jean Marcinak and Amelia Sobotor.
Funeral services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
