M. Jayne Fox, 73, Selinsgrove

SELINSGROVE — M. Jayne Fox, 73, of Park Road, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born March 12, 1939, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Victor and Evelyn (Renner) Scoviak.

Jayne attended Sunbury High School.

She had been employed by Champ Hats, Sunbury, Colonial Fair, Shamokin Dam, Kemberling Foods, Hummels Wharf, and the Hummels Wharf Fire Company.

Jayne enjoyed camping, traveling to see her daughters, and flying with Bob. She was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed tennis, football and Little League baseball.

She is survived by her companion for 34 years, Robert E. Wagner; four daughters, Tammy Mountain and husband, Thomas, of Conway, S.C., Julie Evers and companion, Jim Mordan, of Hummels Wharf, Helen Freeman, of Andrews, S.C., and Denise Fox and companion, David Blanton, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; six grandchildren, Ashley Shortal and husband, Tony, Michael Mountain, Nicole Martin, Kyle Freeman, Amber Prince, and Dylan Freeman; five great-grandchildren, Matteo Martin, Skyler Taylor, April Prince, Benjamin Prince Jr., and Anthony Freeman; Bob’s children, Joanne Wagner, Jeff Wagner, Brenda Confer and Christopher Wagner and nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Stephen Scoviak, of Shamokin.

She was preceded in death by two sons-in-law, Thad Freeman and Joe Evers; three brothers, Richard, James and Barry Scoviak; four sisters, Patti Guyer, Anna Comrey, Donna Kurtz, and Sandra Shemory; and Bob’s daughter, Janet Fagley.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove, with the Rev. Jeremy Smallwood officiating.

A private burial will be in the Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
