MOUNT PLEASANT MILLS — Addie Moyer Beidler, 76, a longtime resident of Mount Pleasant Mills, entered into rest March 7, 2013, at her home after an extended illness.
She was born Jan. 15, 1937, in Franconia, a daughter of the late Edgar M. and Anna Mary (Moyer) Landis. She was married to the late Clyde L. Beidler Sr.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by nine sons, Glenn and Michelle Beidler, of Freeburg, Clyde and Rachel Beidler, of Quakertown, Earl and Martha Jane Beidler, of Richfield, Joseph and Martha Beidler, of Mount Pleasant Mills, Lowell and Jana Lou, of Canton, Marlin Beidler, at home, Nathan and Ericka Beidler, of Mount Pleasant Mills, Levi and Edna Beidler, of Columbiana, Ohio, Bruce and Ethel Beidler, of Athens, Wis.; three daughters, Virginia wife of Ben Sauder, of Hanover, Karen wife of Dwight Derstine, of Shirelysburg, and Dorcas, at home; 54 grandchildren; and six great -grandchildren; three brothers, Edgar Landis, of Richfield, Robert Landis, of Mountainside, N.J., and Ervin Landis, of Orfordville, Wis.; five sisters, Kathryn (Paul) Clemens, of Harleysville, Mary Jane (Roy C.) Derstine, of Apple Creek, Ohio, Betty Miller, of Portsmouth, Va., Ruth (John) Myers, of Severn, N.C., and Rhoda(late Ralph) Detwiler, of Sarasota, Fla.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Eric Beidler; one grandson Eric Dean Beidler; one granddaughter Louella Beidler; one brother Timothy Landis; and one sister Lois (Philip) Kropf.
The family will receive friends for the viewing from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Shade Mountain Mennonite Church, Center Road, Mount Pleasant Mills, where the funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with the Bethel Mennonite Church ministry officiating.
Burial will be in Bethel Mennonite Church Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Mills.
The George P. Garman Funeral Homes Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mount Pleasant Mills, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
