KLINGERSTOWN — June Marie Masser, 85 of Klingerstown, died Saturday, March 16, 2013, at her home.She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest F. Masser who died Dec. 26, 2012.
Born Friday, Oct. 14, 1927, in Leck Kill, she was a daughter of the late William Jacob and Thelma (Shadel) Troutman
She was a homemaker and had previously worked on Blyler and Schwartz Farms.
She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed calling around for orders for the Klingerstown Fire Company fundraisers. June also enjoyed gardening, flowers and bird watching.
She was a member of Christ Evangelical and Reformed Church of Leck Kill.
Surviving are four children, Glenn Masser and his wife Cheryl, Shirley Hilbert and her husband Dave, Robert Masser and friend Kim and Dennis Masser and his wife Christina, all of Dornsife; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruby Kissinger and Ruth Phillips; two brothers, Roy Miller and Dale Reynolds; nieces; and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one daughter Connie Masser and one brother Darvin Miller.
Viewing will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Christ Evangelical and Reformed Church, Leck Kill, where the funeral will follow at 11 with the Rev. Mark Rothermel officiating.
Burial will follow in Jacob’s Cemetery, Pitman.
